Committed to providing patients with the latest and most effective medical aesthetic treatments available, the Advanced Laser and Cosmetic Center, with locations in both Sharonville, Cincinnati, Ohio and Centerville, Dayton, Ohio offers expert Bellafill® treatment, the newest and longest-lasting dermal injectable available.
What is Bellafill?
Bellafill is an exceptional new injectable cosmetic treatment that can correct an array of facial lines, folds, and other flaws with longer-lasting results than any other filler on the market. Results are immediate and last for five years. Unlike other dermal fillers, Bellafill is not absorbed into the body. It is made from a combination of collagen and non-absorbable PMMA microspheres that provide structural support to the skin. It also contains a tiny amount of a local anesthetic to help reduce pain associated with the injection.
What facial flaws can Bellafill correct?
Bellafill delivers wonderful results for a wide range of cosmetic concerns, including:
- Smiles lines
- Marionette lines
- Acne scars
- Under eye hollows
- Frown lines
- Vertical lip lines
What does the procedure entail?
The first step is to conduct a collagen skin test to determine whether you have an allergic reaction to Bellafill. If like most patients, you don’t, our specialist will proceed with your treatment. Even though the filler contains an anesthetic, some sensitive patients choose to have an additional numbing cream applied to ensure maximum comfort. Next Bellafill is injected into the desired area with an ultrathin needle. The procedure should take no longer than 10 to 15 minutes. Afterward, you’re free to resume your daily activities. There is no downtime whatsoever. Some patients may experience mild swelling or redness at the treatment site, but this will subside within a couple of days.
Do results really last for five years?
Yes! Bellafill’s rejuvenating results have been clinically proven to last for five years, and may last even longer. Since Bellafill is relatively new, over time results could actually be shown to exceed five years.
